Q - How long has SRHHS been serving the community?

A - Locally owned and operated, SRHHS has served over 10,000 patients in the Fulton, Knox, Tazewell, Peoria and surrounding communities since 1995.

Q - Does SRHHS supply literature explaining its services, eligibility requirements, fees and funding sources?

Q - Does SRHHS furnish patients with a detailed "Patient Bill of Rights" that outlines the rights and responsibilities of the providers, patients, and caregivers alike?

Q - How does SRHHS select and train its employees?

A - All of our caregivers are selected and trained to meet or exceed the needs of each individual patient under our care.  For your protection, every employee is reference and criminal background checked, drug tested, insured, and bonded.  We provide care under the direct supervision of your personal physician in the comfort of your own home.

Q - Does SRHHS include the patient and his or her family members in developing the plan of care?  Are they involved in making care plan changes?

A- YES. The patient and family members are always included in the development of and changes to the care plan.

Q - Is the patient's course of treatment documented, detailing the specific tasks to be carried out by each professional caregiver?

A - Yes.  A detailed care plan and course of treatment plan is documented, approved by the attending physician and therapists involved in these plans.

Q -Does SRHHS assign supervisors to oversee the quality of care patients are receiving in their homes?

A - Yes.  A nurse supervisor is in constant contact with the caregivers, physician, and family members to insure quality of care is being delivered.  The supervisor makes frequent visits to the home to verify that quality of care is being delivered effectively and consistently.

Q - Who can the patient and his or her family members call with questions or complaints?

Q - Does SRHHS furnish written statements explaining all of the costs and payment plan options associated with home care?

Q - What procedures does SRHHS have in place to handle emergencies?

A - Our caregivers are fully trained and certified in CPR and other emergency techniques.  In addition, our CareLink & CareMed services provide peace of mind for each patient and their family.  CareLink provides products that connect patients directly to an attendant who can assess the emergency and quickly dispatch family, friends, neighbors, or EMS.  (CareMed assists patients in taking the right medication at the right time.)

Q - Are caregivers available 24 hours a day, seven days a week?

A - Yes.  Depending on the patient's needs SRHHS offers 24 hour/7 days a week home health care services.
